Who Bench Rental Is For

What’s Included with Bench Membership
Standard bench membership includes access to a fully equipped professional workshop environment and practical facilities to support both making and business development.Membership includes:

Bench Rental Rates
Standard Membership
£400 per month

At the end of the term, you will usually retain your bench for a further six months unless agreed otherwise
This option is designed for makers who want a regular workshop base to take on commissions, build a portfolio and develop their business in a professional setting.
Day & Weekly Workshop Hire
Short-term workshop hire is also available for non-members.
Non-member rates
Day rate: £75
Week rate: £350
Short-term hire includes access to the same workshop facilities and machinery as bench membership, subject to the same workshop requirements and competence standards. Tools, materials and personal items should be removed at the end of the day unless consecutive days have been booked.
Workshop Requirements
To keep the workshop safe and practical for everyone using it, the following requirements apply

Public liability insurance is required for bench rental users

Personal tools and equipment are not covered by workshop insurance

Insurance can be arranged separately through your own provider

Woodworking machine-shop competence is required

An induction will be given on the equipment you plan to use
